"This is the day the Lord has made;We will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24
I am thinking of the above scripture as I am now going to revive my blog! :) It feels weird to be writing on here again after taking some time away, but it feels good too. It feels right and I believe it is what I should be doing. Whoever chooses to follow me on here is in for a little bit of a ride. The ride could be bumpy, hit a dead end or be a smooth ride, only time will tell.
I am changing up the format a little and will be writing about the 4 things that are most important in my life: my faith in Christ, my family, food and fitness and friendships.
God has really been working on my heart that if I sow the proper seeds, then I will reap the goodness of that harvest. And that is my desire, to sow good seeds.
A good harvest usually doesn't come quickly. It takes several things to reap a good harvest: prayer, time, patience, self-control, faith, hope, love and gentleness. Those are just the top seeds to plant in order to reap anything that is worth reaping.
If I want to reap a stronger relationship and faith in God, then I need to take the time to talk with him and study His word. I need to be obedient to what I feel He is leading me to. I also need to share my hope that I have through Him with others, leading other towards Him.
The same things apply to reaping a harvest in my family, friends and my health. I must pour good seeds into those areas, such as time, self-control, love and gentleness to name a few.
I will close with a scripture that is my inspiration for this blog and my harvest. "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9.
Let us not give up, let us march forward strong and steadfast.
